Tarka's Happy Home
Rescue workers received an emergency call last week and found a beautiful American Eskimo mix breed with a severly injured leg who needed medical help desperately.  The dog had been dragging his painful leg around for 2 months, gangrene had set in and the vet had to amputate the leg.

CPR member, Dolores Smith , has adopted the dog and reports he is steadily improving and will be in training to be a Therapy Dog.  She has re-named him Tarka - Eskimo for "courage"-  he has plenty of that admirable trait considing all the pain he has had  -  Dolores  plans on taking Tarka to visit retirement homes and shut ins with disabilities - His extremely gentle and sweet spirit will be an inspiration to all.
