Buck is owner surrendered. He belonged
to the kids and he was so neglected that the choke chain he was wearing
had cut into his neck and had to be cut off. The mom said that she cut
the chain off herself and that proved Buck wasn't a biter because
otherwise he would have bitten her then. She took him to the vet and his
neck has healed. Buck is a purebred yellow Lab, no papers. He loves
kids, doesn't bother her cats, wears a harness now. She says that she
lets him into the yard and he runs around until he's tired and then she
walks him. He walks right beside her and sits when she stops. She has
been working with him for 6 weeks and he hadn't been worked with before,
but he's intelligent. He's 2-3 years old and has not been neutered.
Colville Pet Rescue will neuter him before he's adopted.
