Socks is a Border Collie pup,
about 8 months old. He was just rescued on the Colville Reservation,
by a young Native American man who had been trying to catch him for 2 weeks.
In spite of this trauma, Socks is sweet and nice. He has a serious
personality, but the young man said he would come up to his dogs and be very
playful, even before he was caught Border Collies were recently rated
the most intelligent of all breeds.
