This is one of 5
puppies (1 boy, 4 girls) rescued, in a dramatic effort involving
several people, in Eastern Washington. The mother, we've named Shadow
was dumped with her puppies, or pregnant, and had managed to care for her
puppies in a den. Rescuers pulled 94 porcupine
quills from sweet patient Shadow. The puppies have been
named Faith, Hope, Charity, Love, and Valor for the people who worked so

Here are a couple of pictures for you. Cody/aka Valor, is doing wonderful. He's a
great dog and has a lot of energy.
The third picture is of myself and the little guy. The fourth one is
with my husband Don and our daughter Emma. I didn't know what kind of
pictures you wanted so I sent a couple of different ones.
