Lacey Squint is a really loving young Lab mix
girl. She's small for a Lab, only about 25 pounds. She
was the center of some local newspaper reporting, as she was giving
Animal Control a challenge, trying to catch her as she was living on
her own at the Fairgrounds, nobody able to catch her, she's so
smart. Finally, a T-bone steak was put in a humane trap,
and she couldn't resist. She is missing an eye, but
she's had great veterinary care, thanks to Rescue, and is fine
now. She has learned to sit for treats, and is walking
well on a leash. She is house trained, and will go to the door
when she wants out. OK with cats, but will chase the ones that run.
This girl is a survivor. She's been through hard times, and
still loves people. Lacey is a personal favorite of Rescue. If you
can look through a little disability to see her soul, give her a
chance in your home.
