Ira is a cute little guy, just about 8 weeks old.  He still has all of his baby teeth.  He came to rescue because his new family's old dog didn't like him when they brought him home to meet him.  He's had his first vaccination on 10/31.  A sweet, loving little guy.  "This breed of dog is very faithful, and full of energy, but not demanding.  He'll learn quickly as he grows, and be a great companion.  Golden Retrievers grow to be about 65 pounds and are wonderfully patient with children.  They have a great sense of smell, and work equally good in water or on land." according to Guide to Dogs.  This little guy loves to snuggle!
