Jake, Jill, and Jenny are German Shorthair Pointer
puppies, 4-5 months old, brought to Rescue. Outgoing, friendly,
eager to please. These uppies will grow up to hunt, hike, watch out
for the kids, or just lie by the fire. German Shorthairs are
powerful, strong, and versatile hunting dogs. They are equally at
home on land or water and excellent at working wildfowl and most
game. The forest, in water, and for hunting bigger game, especially
if the quarry is dangerous. The German Short-haired also makes a
good household pet, provided that it receives enough exercise. It
is easy to train, usually good with children, and does not require a
lot of grooming. Females will weigh about 45-60 lbs. Males
about 55-75 lbs.
