UPDATE:  Spirit has had surgery on both legs, and is in a foster home.  He is walking on both legs, but not using his front paw.  He will go in again in about a week for the pins to be adjusted. 

Spirit is a sweet puppy that was found on the highway.  The vet believes that he fell from the back of a pickup truck.   One front leg, and one rear leg are broken - both in two places.   He's now at our vet.  Both legs will need to be pinned, and he will hopefully be walking again soon.  Spirit is about 4 1/2 weeks old.  If you'd like to help with his medical costs, or would like to apply for his adoption, we'd love to hear from you.
