Blue Heelers are highly intelligent, loyal, and will guard with
their last breath anything that they think belongs to you. Henry is
a very "special needs" boy. We thought he may have been injured
because he kept his head tilted to one side, and seems off balance.
But the problem was that he had cheat grass in his middle (inner?)
ear, and a punctured ear drum. He is deaf in one ear. He has been
treated, and his prognosis is "guarded." He is on antibiotics now.
Henry is neutered, and his adoption fee has been waived. If you are
not able to foster or adopt him, but want to help him, donations may
be made for his vet bill to Chewelah Veterinary Clinic, P.O. box 29,
Chewelah, 99109. Mark check "for Henry."
