Maverick is a Red Heeler boy. This kind of
cattle dog is a superb worker, an outstanding shepherd with strong
natural herding and guarding instincts. Usually weigh around 35
pounds. They are loyal companions, but require exercise, as all the
herding dogs do. Extremely intelligent and eager to please.
