MEL is an adorable 8 year old Bichon Frise boy.  He is a really good little dog, but his young lady has to give him up because she is moving to a "no pets" house.  Mel is house trained and neutered.  He goes into his kennel on command.  He is OK with the cat, and he likes to ride in the car.

The Bichon is similar in appearance to the Miniature Poodle, about 9"-10" tall.  Happy, friendly, and lively, this breed makes an attractive and cuddly small pet, which will enjoy as much exercise as most owners can provide.  It has a long curly coat resembling a powder puff when he's groomed.  Or you can do the easy thing, and scissor him down like Mel.
