Rowdy is a Collie/Border Collie boy probably about 18 months
old. He has a happy expression on his face and kind eyes. He was so
excited to be rescued from the pound that he was about to explode in his
pictures, giving the rescue

many kisses. He learned his new name in just a few hours. He
adores people. Rowdy needs to go to an active family because
he has so much energy. Bigger than the Border
Collie, a little smaller than a Collie,
beautiful black coat with white. Border Collies and Collies are
both highly intelligent, energetic breeds, not couch potatoes. They
do really well in obedience. They need attention and some kind of
job to do, even it it's just retrieving a ball for a few hours every
day or going on long hikes. Rowdy is being fostered by a 16 year old
cow girl on a ranch. He can scale a 6 foot fence, as any smart
Collie can do, but he stays on the property, doesn't wander at all.
Rowdy is well house trained, and sleeps by the bed at night.
he is very nice to cats and their other dog. He likes to lay
his head on their laps when they're sitting on the sofa. She
takes him everywhere with her. Even to the rodeo grounds, and
he didn't pay any attention to the horses. He sits on command,
and doesn't jump on people. He's good with children.
