**Rosie**
Rosie is a chocolate lab, about 2 years old and currently nursing week old babies. She has a white blaze on her chest and big round, golden eyes. She	is very much what you expect from a lab-smart, friendly, loving, and a good alarm, but not a good guard - she barks at a noise and then wags her tail. She and the cats get along and one, Pearl, sleeps with her every day. She comes when called, every single time, having learned her new name, Rosie, in less than one hour. rescue@cprgroup.org
She is playful and gets along great with all the other dogs. She likes leaning on my legs, me petting her as she relaxes down to the floor. She is very smart-I have already taught her a few commands, like staying out of	the cat food and ‘out of the kitchen’ and a few other ‘house rules’ and it only took a few minutes for her to learn. Of course keeping out of the kitchen seems to take a bit longer! She has a long, happy tail so small children could have trouble until taller than her.
